So as my readers should know, I am a huge music nerd and feel like that needs to be incoporated into the brown turtle.

When I first started, I tried to do a song of the day, which I soon realized is very difficult to keep up with.

Then I decided to do an original weekly segment called THROWBACK THURSDAY TURTLE TURNTABLE TUNES, which is still hard keep up with on a weekly basis, but I plan to continue posting those.

More recently, I came to the conclusion that I should post monthly playlists, that will keep my musically inclined readers up-to-date with what I’m listening to currently without having to update them constantly.

I hope this will provide you all with my diversity among my blog and more incentive to keep reading. The first playlist premieres at 9pm eastern time tonight!
